Hi. Thanks for being here. I'm Shashank, a digital writer working at the intersection of writing, marketing, and how people show up online. This is my space on the internet where I think, document what I'm learning, and try to make sense of things as I go.

Work

I didn't start here with a clear plan. I moved to Bangalore after school, studied engineering, and somewhere along the way realised I wasn't building towards something I actually wanted. Writing started as a side thing, a way to make some money, but it slowly became the one thing that kept pulling me back.

The early years were a mix of trying things, switching directions, and figuring out what fit. I worked across content and marketing roles, spent close to two years at The Test Tribe understanding communities and events, and kept writing consistently through all of it.

Today, I work at GrowedIn, where I help executives and companies build their reputation and presence on LinkedIn. A big part of my work is helping people say what they actually mean, in a way that others can understand and trust.

Life

Outside of work, things are simple. I prefer a small circle over big crowds. I like spending time with people who feel easy to be around. Most weekends are slow, usually watching movies or shows, sometimes reading, sometimes just switching off.

I enjoy things that don't ask for too much but still feel fun. Arcades, games, long conversations, that kind of time.

This Space

The idea didn't start as a website. It started with a simple thought: I wanted a place to put things. Somewhere that felt like my own.

I'm still a student when it comes to writing. Most of what I share is me trying to understand something better. This is where I keep that, without any fixed schedule, or pressure to be consistent.

It took me longer than it should have to start this. I kept putting it off, thinking it needed more time, more planning. Keyur kept pushing me for long enough that eventually I just started. Thanks to him. To my surprise this site came together faster than I expected. Built using Claude, with Ghost and Magic Pages handling the backend. Kept it simple, and close to how I wanted it to feel. This version went live on 19th April 2026. I'll keep tweaking things as I go.
